In 2006, Karen Mitris took over sole ownership of Back In Action, providing Neuralign consults to all of Back In Actions Clientele.

As of November 1st 2007, Karen and her partner Michael have decided to travel Australia, which has been a lifetime wish for the both of them. In the months that Karen will be away, a dear friend and colleague, Romana Davis who is also a Neuralign practitioner, will be available every Tuesday to look after Karen’s much valued clients.

Karen first started her career as a public servant & continued with this profession for 8 years.

She then branched into Aged care and although she enjoyed her job, she became aware that a more hands on approach was needed with the elderly as no one touched or held them in a nurturing manner, only in a medical way. She found Reiki was the answer she was looking for.

Through her interest in Reiki, Karen discovered a desire to be of service in helping others in their general well being. This led her into the massage field and completing levels 1 and 2 in Deep Muscle Ligament & Tendon Massage. Although great results were being achieved with massage many clients needed more structural work done to alleviate pain. It was then she studied Neuralign, completing her training in 1999. Karen has seen many wonderful results treating both long and short term injuries with this brilliant technique  

Throughout 2001 - 2004 Karen trained with Brian Smart, and completed level three in Bowen, and throughout 2006 /07 has completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage allowing her to expand her knowledge in anatomy & physiology and treat the body in a holistic manner.
 
Karen's long term goals are to expand her knowledge of the body using the amazing techniques of Neuralign, Bowen and Remedial therapies and continue the wonderful alliance between both TNHC and Back in Action in the future. But above all she just wants to enjoy life!
